What Are the Mill Road Companies?

The Mill Road Companies were formed to lease, rehabilitate and reopen the former Phoneco Building at 19813 East Mill Road in Galesville Wisconsin for multi-purpose use.

Our Owners are Paul and Lorie Peterson.

Paul grew up in the Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau school district, and has always had an eye on the building since applying for a part-time job (in high-school) with Phoneco.

As a Maker, Paul has way too many machines and much too much equipment to fit in our home. The search was on for a suitable space. Unfortunately, in the town where we live, shop space brings crazy rent, due to several large companies being headquartered here. The Phoneco building showed up on Paul’s FaceBook Marketplace as available. the Opportunity was too good to pass up, so the Mill Road Companies were born!

The concept is for several entities to occupy the space. They Include:

  • Mill Road Market

    • A craft/flea-market where vendors can showcase their goods and services year round in an indoor environment. Begining as a weekend market, with possible expansion to full-time hours. For information, email: market@millroadco.com or Contact Us below!
